Valentine's Day Zines & Self-Written Poetry - Part II.

ree

If you were here last week, you know I've been diving into zines: tiny little folded booklets of poems (or just thoughts) - often, and in this case as well - folded out of a single sheet of A4 paper. As it is a learning process of mine, but with a clear result, I decided to share them here so that you can download, print, and send or give them to whomever. To share kindness, love. Not only for Valentine's Day, of course, but why not start like now? If you mean it all year round anyway?

Last week, I shared two self-written zines - you can access them here:

Today, I am back with two more, this time co-written by a Sweet Racoon. To whom I feel so very grateful.

Here are today's zines - titled What Does it Take to Make a Bed? and It's All About You.

What will you need? Let's recap:

And the - very easy - steps to follow:

1.) You need to print the zines out

2.) Fold them alongside the eight pictures, like this:

3.) Cut between the inner four pictures:

To get something like this:

4.) Fold them like this:

Be smarter than this person over here - and mind the printer's settings, else it might adjust the pdf by cutting off edges and guess who will need to trim them later? (But also, fear not - zines are about love and being imperfect, no pristinness here, none!)

And voila! You've got a zine to love, to gift - to share.

You can download them here:

This was all for today. Is someone over here running out of winter energy? Is someone over here in need of caffeine? (For sure!)

See you soon, mind your light!

Hugs from the Fearless Frock!
